About the Role
Join Vanguard's Client Research Centre to shape insights for financial advisers and investors in Europe. Turn complex research into compelling, client-focused thought leadership, delivering data-driven insights on investing, financial planning, and advice business management.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis on investing, financial planning, and practice management topics to generate relevant insights for clients.
- Convert analysis based on the US market to be relevant for a UK, German, or Italian market.
- Conduct primary research on a new topic in collaboration with senior specialists.
- Convert research and analysis findings into client-facing material, including PowerPoint presentations, articles, white papers, and short interactive formats.
- Participate in internal training and communications, including training on new thought leadership content.
- Present research findings and recommendations with clients.
- Maintain awareness of thought leadership generated across Vanguard globally and within the European wealth and asset management industry.
- Develop and maintain key internal stakeholder relationships across the organization.
- Maintain broad knowledge of the investment industry, compliance, regulatory, and departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar analytical role in an asset management or similar financial services firm.
- Experience working in client services or a client-facing team preferred.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- CFA charterholder or working towards it is ideal.
- Subject to UK regulatory requirements in relation to conduct rules, regulatory references, and the assessment of fitness and propriety, knowledge, experience, and competence.
- May be subject to approval by the UK FCA.
