About the Role
For an established company in the asphalt and road construction materials sector, we are looking for a Mixing Plant Operator (m/f/d) in Berlin. You will ensure that modern asphalt mixing plants run reliably and that production runs smoothly, together with a well-coordinated team. You will work in a permanent position, benefit from attractive construction industry collective agreement benefits, and finish work by 1:00 PM thanks to the early shift.
Responsibilities
- Operate, control, and monitor modern asphalt mixing plants and associated technical equipment.
- Identify malfunctions, analyze their causes, and independently resolve technical problems.
- Perform maintenance, upkeep, and servicing of machinery and plants.
- Replace wear parts and support repairs and technical optimizations.
- Record and document important operational data and monitor production processes.
- Ensure orderliness, cleanliness, and compliance with all applicable occupational health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure efficient and trouble-free production.
Requirements
- Completed technical or craft apprenticeship, e.g., as an electronics technician, mechanic, locksmith, or welder, or a comparable qualification.
- Enjoy understanding technical contexts and systematically solving problems.
- Good German language skills at at least B2 level.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Work responsibly, independently, and enjoy teamwork.
