About the Role
As an Analyst Investment & Asset Management (m/f/d), you will play a central role in debt fund management, financial modeling, and controlling our growing European real estate portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Manage debt funds and lender reporting, including monitoring credit portfolios, fund drawdowns, capital allocation, repayments, and liquidity management.
- Track key credit metrics (LTV, LTC, Interest Cover, maturity structures) and ensure compliance with credit terms and covenants.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly lender reports, including portfolio snapshots, interest calculations, and asset commentary.
- Create scenario-based financial models and cash flow analyses for potential acquisitions and existing properties.
- Underwrite new acquisitions for financing structures, including LTV and LTC sizing, sensitivity analyses, and downside scenarios.
- Support due diligence for acquisitions, reviewing legal, technical, and financial documentation.
- Evaluate financing solutions for property acquisition and project development (senior, junior, and consumer financing).
- Prepare resolution proposals and investment recommendations, presenting regularly to senior management and stakeholders.
- Establish financial controlling and prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual analyses (budget, forecast, and actual figures).
- Monitor accounts receivable management and owner statements, tracking outstanding amounts and collection rates, reconciling payments with cash flows, and assessing impacts on liquidity, returns, and debt service capacity.
- Analyze and interpret financial metrics to derive actionable recommendations.
- Develop business cases and update the business plan to ensure consistent planning across all company areas.
- Optimize data quality, models, and reporting processes, and conduct ad-hoc analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Above-average successful degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Real Estate Management, or a comparable field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant professional experience (including relevant internships/working student roles) in Real Estate Finance, Debt/Credit Funds, Lending, Transaction Management, Controlling, or Investment Banking.
- Sound understanding of real estate financing, capital structure (senior, junior, and mezzanine capital), and key credit metrics (LTV, LTC, Interest Cover).
- Excellent financial modeling skills with Microsoft Excel (cash flow, scenario, and credit models) and strong PowerPoint skills.
- Outstanding analytical and structured working style with a high degree of precision and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment, adhering to tight deadlines and clear prioritization.
- Confident and clear communication when interacting with senior stakeholders, lenders, and investors.
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken (minimum C1 level).
