About the Role
Manage engineering assets to ensure smooth, cost-effective operations with minimal disruptions. Oversee reactive works, ensuring prompt handling in line with procedures, and develop management tools to monitor asset and building performance, providing recommendations for improvement.
Responsibilities
- Upload quotes to Web Quote for client approval and ensure reactive tasks are completed within SLA
- Attend daily meetings and submit weekly staff and subcontractor rotas on time
- Carry out routine PPM on electrical and mechanical plant, complete reactive tasks promptly, and maintain adequate spares with inventory and timescale estimates
- Keep Computer-Based Maintenance Systems up to date with accurate PPM and reactive data
- Prepare and follow Method Statements and Risk Assessments, ensuring good engineering practices and a safe work environment with uniforms and PPE
- Compile monthly reports for managers and clients
- Build positive relationships with Smart staff, subcontractors, and client representatives
- Keep all plant rooms secure, clean, and well-maintained
