About the Role
Support our project team from the initial site assessment through to the building permit, taking ownership of defined work packages from day one.
Responsibilities
- Draw scaled site and layout plans, including access, safety distances, and the cable route to the grid connection.
- Prepare application packages with a partner architect, coordinate expert reports, and respond to authority follow-up questions.
- Review development and land use plans to determine the necessary permitting procedure for a site.
- Accompany the construction of projects, observing foundation work and container placement.
- Develop templates and AI-assisted workflows for recurring tasks to increase efficiency.
Requirements
- Currently studying civil engineering, architecture, or urban and spatial planning (Bachelor from 4th semester or Master).
- Demonstrated experience building something outside of the curriculum (e.g., startup, internship, design competition, student initiative, research project).
- Familiarity with building law (BauGB, state building code, building documents ordinance) or the ability to learn it quickly.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or similar).
- Experience in communicating with authorities, asking pertinent questions, and documenting responses.
- German language proficiency at C1 level or higher.
- Good English language skills.
