About the Role

The Project Manager will support the delivery of strategic Asset Servicing and Product Development initiatives. This role is responsible for planning, governing, and delivering complex change across product, technology, operations, and business stakeholder groups, ensuring initiatives meet scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end delivery discipline across project initiation, scope definition, planning, RAID management, financial tracking, governance reporting, testing readiness, implementation, and transition to BAU.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to manage delivery risks, unblock issues, maintain clear communication, and ensure initiatives are delivered to agreed scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards.
  • Operate across multiple priorities, build trusted relationships with Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and client-facing teams.
  • Bring structure and momentum to complex initiatives in a regulated financial services environment.

Requirements

  • Strong project management experience within financial services, ideally across asset servicing, custody, fund administration, regulatory change, data, digital, or product delivery environments.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end delivery across complex initiatives, including project initiation, planning, scope management, RAID management, governance, financial tracking, testing readiness, implementation, and BAU transition.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders and translating delivery progress, risks, and decisions into clear, concise updates.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and external partners to drive alignment and remove delivery blockers.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, delivery controls, and regulated change environments, including the ability to maintain high-quality project artefacts and audit-ready documentation.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Practical experience using tools such as Clarity PPM, Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organised and proactive, with strong attention to detail, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a focus on driving delivery outcomes at pace.
  • Commercial and financial awareness, including experience supporting budget tracking, resource planning, forecasting, and delivery reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks early, challenge constructively, and drive practical resolution across teams.
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the United Kingdom at the time of application and for the duration of employment.
  • Northern Trust is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.
