About the Role
Waste Connections is seeking a Local Garbage Truck Driver to operate a Residential Garbage Truck on specified routes, collecting solid waste and transporting it to disposal sites. This is a physically demanding role requiring teamwork, with drivers taking turns working on the back of the truck.
Responsibilities
- Drive a Residential Garbage Truck with another driver on specified routes
- Collect solid waste
- Transport solid waste to appropriate disposal sites
- Take turns working on the back of the garbage truck
Requirements
- Class A or B CDL
- Clean Driving Record
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to lift 65 lbs throughout a 10+ hour shift
