About the Role
Waste Connections is seeking a Local Garbage Truck Driver in South Austin, TX, responsible for collecting solid waste and transporting it to disposal sites as part of a driver/driver team.
Responsibilities
- Drive a Residential Garbage Truck on specified routes.
- Collect solid waste and transport it to appropriate disposal sites.
- Work on the back of the garbage truck, performing physical tasks.
Requirements
- Possess a Class A or B CDL.
- Maintain a clean driving record.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to lift 65 lbs throughout a 10+ hour shift.
