About the Role

Clarity Pediatrics is transforming pediatric specialty care by partnering with pediatricians to deliver expert, evidence-based care for children with chronic conditions. This role will own and scale the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) engine, encompassing strategy, systems, and execution across payer contracting, billing, denials, collections, and reconciliation. It's a builder role focused on precision, root-cause thinking, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow the RevOps team, setting priorities and coaching.
  • Own payer contracting strategy, including negotiation and lifecycle management.
  • Set the standard for billing accuracy and claim submission.
  • Manage denials end-to-end, including root-cause analysis and process improvement.
  • Drive cross-functional resolution of systemic denial drivers.
  • Oversee reconciliation and collections, managing A/R and cash flow.
  • Partner with Finance on month-end close, reporting, and analysis.
  • Act as the subject-matter expert on revenue cycle performance.
  • Implement process, tooling, and documentation improvements for scalability and audit readiness.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of total revenue cycle experience.
  • 2-3+ years managing a team in a billing/RCM or similar operations function.
  • Experience with payer contract negotiation (more extensive experience considered for Director-level).
  • Root-cause analysis skills to fix processes, not just claims.
  • Ability to own outcomes dependent on other teams and build alignment.
  • Strong analytical skills to monitor performance and drive fixes.
  • Trusted judgment and follow-through.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and evolving processes in a startup environment.
  • Experience across commercial, Medicaid, and self-pay payer types.
  • Experience at a virtual care or telemedicine startup is preferred.
