About the Role
Microsoft's Cloud Supply Chain organization is responsible for delivering the hardware infrastructure that powers Microsoft's cloud and AI capabilities. The Supply Chain Product Management team within CSCP designs and builds industry-leading systems, tools, and processes, embedding AI for cutting-edge supply chain solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of hardware planning product capabilities across S&OP and supportability for Cloud server and network assets.
- Hire, manage, and develop a team of exceptional product managers up to principal level.
- Define product strategy, roadmap, release sequencing, success metrics, and operating models for complex planning transformation programs.
- Drive integration across planning, Shiproom, build planning, master data, engineering, Finance, and execution teams to ensure solutions operate as a coherent planning system.
- Translate ambiguous business problems into clear product requirements, future-state process designs, phased capabilities, and measurable outcomes.
- Own executive-ready narratives, decision forums, and review materials for clear communication of problem statements, risks, dependencies, tradeoffs, metrics, and asks.
- Establish product accountability and decision rights across ambiguous boundaries among business process owners, product teams, engineering teams, and execution teams.
- Resolve cross-program dependencies before they become blockers for launch, adoption, or supportability.
- Partner with engineering teams to move programs from concept and PRD through design, implementation, validation, launch, and hypercare.
- Drive adoption of standardized planning processes, exception workflows, data quality controls, and governance mechanisms across planner communities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years people management experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
- Must pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Skills
- Product management leadership experience in supply chain, cloud infrastructure, capacity planning, enterprise planning, or large-scale operations (> 7 years).
- Ability to lead complex, cross-functional transformation programs across business, product, engineering, finance, and operations stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of integrated planning concepts including S&OP, S&OE, demand/supply reconciliation, supportability, capacity planning, scenario planning, and execution handoffs.
- Demonstrated ability to operate at executive altitude: simplifying complex topics into clear strategy, decisions, tradeoffs, and business outcomes.
- Experience leading through ambiguity where ownership, process boundaries, systems, and decision rights are undefined.
- Strong systems thinking: understanding how changes in one planning process, data source, or workflow affect downstream commitments and execution.
- Proven track record in building product roadmaps connecting long-term vision to practical release plans, adoption milestones, and measurable business impact.
- Influence without direct authority across senior stakeholders, peer teams, engineering organizations, and operational leaders.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with comfort using metrics to diagnose process health, prioritize investments, and measure transformation outcomes.
- Managing PMs, with the ability to scale product discipline across a portfolio rather than only own individual features (> 7 years).
- Excellent communication skills including executive storytelling, decision framing, and articulation of risks and dependencies.
- Operational clarity, accountability, and durable process design instead of mere production/shipping of features.
