Responsibilities

  • Support project managers with the end-to-end delivery of data centre projects, including schedule, cost, quality, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.

  • Monitor factory and supplier schedules, proactively identifying potential delays or risks and escalating issues.
  • Support the delivery of MV/LV power distribution solutions, including switchgear, protection, control, and associated electrical equipment.
  • Work closely with engineering, tendering, procurement, logistics, commercial, and site teams to ensure project requirements and customer commitments are understood and delivered.
  • Maintain project trackers, schedules, action registers, risk and opportunity registers, documentation, and regular project reporting.
  • Support customer and contractor coordination meetings and follow through agreed actions to closure.
  • Assist with commercial project activities including purchase orders, supplier coordination, variation tracking, cost monitoring, and project forecasting.
  • Leverage digital tools, data, and automation to improve project visibility, reporting, and execution.
  • Champion Siemens’ commitment to safety, quality, and compliance, ensuring activities are performed in accordance with requirements and applicable Australian standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • Approximately 1–2 years of project management, project engineering, or project coordination experience.
  • Experience working with MV/LV electrical systems, switchgear, protection, and control equipment is highly regarded.
  • Experience coordinating overseas factories, suppliers, or equipment manufacturing is highly regarded.
  • Comfortable coordinating multiple activities and stakeholders.
  • Ability to follow up on actions and maintain strong attention to schedule, quality, and detail.
  • Curious and willing to learn.
  • Comfortable taking increasing ownership as experience develops.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • Prepared to escalate issues early.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-moving project environment.
