About the Role
The Prologis Summer Internship Program offers students of diverse educational backgrounds the opportunity to secure work experience within their field of study. Over 10-12 weeks, interns will collaborate on significant projects, interact with leaders, and build workplace acumen through seminars and Q&A sessions. Interns will also have access to local market tours to understand Prologis’ business and their contributions.
Responsibilities
- Support the Toronto Capital Deployment team by enhancing market modelling and intelligence through property and vacancy data, competitive market research, and development pipeline tracking.
- Coordinate the Deployment Team pipeline.
- Map competing properties and speculative deliveries.
- Organize property information for team use.
- Support financial modelling and underwriting for new developments, land and building acquisitions, and build-to-suit opportunities.
- Work with the Director of Investments and Director of Entitlements on a term project.
- Manage the internal property database (BUD).
- Use Salesforce to manage the Deployment Team pipeline.
- Research and map properties that compete with Prologis vacancies, and summarize Prologis’s competitive advantages.
- Build competitive set maps in Google Earth, including site plans, to track speculative deliveries.
- Coordinate daily with the Director of Investments to complete a term project for use by the broader Deployment Team.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program as a rising sophomore, junior, or senior, or currently enrolled in a graduate program.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to professionalism and integrity.
- Ability to collaborate as part of a team and willingness to learn.
