About the Role
Rippling is launching Rippling AI Solutions, a new business line focused on custom AI applications and consulting services for G&A and non-R&D organizations. This role is a founding position on the AI Solutions team, responsible for owning customer engagements end-to-end, from discovery to measurable impact. The position combines aspects of an AI Transformation Lead and a Forward Deployed Product Manager, working closely with the General Manager of AI Solutions, Forward Deployed Engineers, Product, and Sales.
Responsibilities
- Own the customer relationship from kickoff through value realization, aligning stakeholders on scope and success criteria.
- Manage the operating cadence for each engagement, including status updates and executive readouts.
- Diagnose customer workflows to identify high-value AI opportunities and create a prioritized AI Transformation Roadmap.
- Define and ship AI workflows in partnership with Forward Deployed Engineers, translating customer needs into product requirements.
- Product manage the implementation process with FDEs, from scoping through testing, launch, and iteration.
- Drive adoption, workflow redesign, and change management to ensure successful implementation and trust in shipped workflows.
- Measure realized value against baselines, create case studies, and identify expansion opportunities.
- Codify repeatable patterns into playbooks, templates, ROI models, and product feedback.
- Refine the AI Solutions playbook and help scale early engagements into a repeatable motion.
- Partner with leadership on engagement health, staffing, delivery capacity, and evolving the AI Solutions motion.
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience as a commercially minded product manager, technically minded consultant, deployment lead, solutions lead, implementation lead, or similar operator in a high-growth environment.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional programs from problem framing through production launch, adoption, and measurable impact.
- Ability to communicate clearly with C-level sponsors, operators, end users, product leaders, and engineers.
- AI fluency, including depth in LLMs, agents, retrieval, evaluations, data, APIs, and integrations to scope solutions and write precise requirements.
- Ability to think in ROI, quantify value, and build credible business cases.
- Comfort in zero-to-one environments where playbooks need to be defined.
- Highly customer-facing, structured, and pragmatic with good judgment.
- Experience building with AI through side projects, prototypes, automations, or practical experimentation.
