About the Role
Build your career and help customers create homes they love. This is a commission-based position with a forgivable draw based on the applicable minimum wage. You’ll help customers find furniture, mattresses, and home furnishings that fit their style, needs, and budget while building relationships and earning based on your performance. No furniture or sales experience is required. We provide paid training, ongoing coaching, and the tools you need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and create a warm, engaging shopping experience
- Build relationships by listening to customers and understanding their needs
- Recommend furniture, mattresses, décor, and home furnishings based on each customer’s lifestyle and budget
- Guide customers through the complete sales process from greeting to purchase
- Explain product features, benefits, promotions, and financing options
- Stay current on product knowledge and design trends
- Follow up with customers to build relationships and encourage repeat business
- Meet and exceed individual sales goals
- Contribute to overall store sales and team performance
- Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing showroom
- Accurately process sales transactions and complete required paperwork
Requirements
- Motivated, outgoing individuals who enjoy working with people and are excited about building a career in sales
