About the Role
Triumph operates real money gaming at scale with a small engineering team, emphasizing leverage through tooling and automation. This role focuses on identifying and removing friction across the entire development and release process, from local development through CI to post-deployment. It's a greenfield opportunity to set standards for developer tooling and processes.
Responsibilities
- Identify and eliminate friction in engineer workflows by constructing effective developer tooling.
- Quantify the problem before solving it, assessing the cost in time and money to prioritize efforts.
- Address process needs across the entire development and release cycle.
- Collaborate with engineers to reduce wasted time and risk in their workflows.
- Build and ship real systems end-to-end, from need identification through adoption.
- Measure the impact and adoption of shipped tooling.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience designing, building, and delivering an internal tool or system used by a team of approximately 20 to 100 engineers.
- Proven ability to quantify impact, detailing problems, solutions, and measurable improvements.
- Strong engineering fundamentals across the stack, with the ability to work in unfamiliar codebases.
- Observational instinct to identify and address user frustrations proactively.
- Willingness and ability to work with AI, including an AI-integrated development environment.
