About the Role
This role involves supervising and directing sales floor operations, managing tasks, mentoring associates, and providing exceptional customer service to achieve sales and conversion goals. You will also maintain product knowledge and ensure accuracy in transactions and store procedures.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct sales floor operations in customer service, merchandising, housekeeping, shipping and receiving, and health and safety.
- Manage and delegate tasks to Associates, providing support to drive productivity and achieve service and sales goals.
- Mentor and guide Associates to ensure they are well-trained and capable of performing assigned tasks and providing service.
- Provide exceptional and responsive customer service while achieving sales and conversion goals.
- Evaluate and continuously improve service quality; investigate, resolve, and escalate customer matters.
- Maintain knowledge of product selection, location, features, benefits, and in-store promotions.
- Ensure accuracy in transactions, inventory, and store procedures.
- Supervise and direct shipping and receiving operations.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Computer skills; ability to learn technological systems with ease.
- Leadership skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude.
- Availability must include extended days, evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to work additional shifts during peak holiday season.
- Flexibility to transfer to other store locations as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
- Ability to use a ladder up to 10 feet.
- Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours.
