About the Role
AMC Global Media is seeking an Analyst, Spec Adherence to join their Media Operations & Engineering team. This role involves evaluating media assets for spec adherence and ensuring best practices are followed across teams.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with QC, Acquisitions, and Media Prep teams to ensure best practices.
- Report, track, troubleshoot, and escalate media evaluation patterns or rejection/acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with the QC team for clarifications on reported issues.
- Track and confirm redelivered or fixed files address original concerns.
- Comprehend and evaluate QC reports with accuracy and good judgment.
- Accept or reject media assets based on QC report evaluation and spec adherence.
- Request supplier redeliveries or file conformance/collateral repair as required.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Media Linear Broadcast or Non-Linear distribution experience.
- Proven success evaluating media assets.
- Ability to incorporate new tools and best practices for a media team.
- Collaborator and problem solver.
- Knowledge in media industry lingo, filetypes, codecs, and collateral types.
- Experience in screening tools like GLIM or Media Central.
