About the Role
As a Pressroom General Worker at Multi-Color Corporation (MCC), you will learn a skilled manufacturing trade and develop into a future Press Operator. This role is designed for individuals eager to build a long-term career in manufacturing, working directly with printing presses and gaining hands-on experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist press operators during production runs
- Prepare inks, coatings, and press materials
- Monitor coating viscosity and production quality
- Inspect printed materials for defects and quality standards
- Help with press wash-ups and changeovers
- Maintain material levels throughout production
- Remove waste and keep work areas organized
- Support safety, quality, and production goals
- Learn machine operation and advanced production processes
- Perform general manufacturing and production support activities
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Ability to stand and move throughout the production area for extended periods
- Frequent walking throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to safely work around production equipment and moving machinery
- Ability to perform physical activities including reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting
- Vision correctable to 20/20
- Ability to distinguish colors
- Ability to perform detailed quality inspections
- Reliable transportation is required
