About the Role
This role supports warehouse operations, materials flow, and logistics activities for an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company, ensuring accurate inventory management and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse material flow processes using various conveyance methods.
- Utilize systems technology for inventory and parts data management.
- Assess material needs and pull required materials to support the production schedule.
- Resolve inventory errors through physical verification and systemic updates.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety standards and proper PPE usage.
- Maintain 5S standards for a clean and organized work area.
- Demonstrate initiative and drive results in assigned tasks.
- Uncrate critical components for general assembly customers.
- Support indirect material storage and logistics needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely parts delivery.
Requirements
- HS Degree or GED.
- User-level computer knowledge including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc).
- Ability to operate heavy warehouse equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to quickly problem-solve and deliver in high-pressure situations.
- Possess a 'get it done' attitude and a sense of urgency.
- Ability to collaborate between warehouse and production teams.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Pass a background check, MVR check, and drug screen.
- Comply with the Substance Abuse Policy.
- Safety Shoe - Composite toe meeting ASTM F 2412 and ASTM F 2413 standards.
