About the Role

Responsibilities

Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative research for the NHS App
Perform usability testing and synthesise findings into clear, actionable insights
Lead user-centred service design to ensure the platform meets citizen needs
Align all research activities with overarching service goals and delivery plans
Manage relationships with key stakeholders to influence service priorities
Champion and embed user research best practice across the wider delivery team

Requirements

Strong background in conducting both qualitative and quantitative user research
Proven track record of leading user-centred, evidence-based service design
Expertise in usability testing, research synthesis, and generating actionable insights
Experience driving and assuring user research best practice within digital teams
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence strategy and service priorities
Knowledge of embedding user-centred ways of working across multidisciplinary teams
