About the Role
We are seeking an energetic and entrepreneurial individual to recruit participants for our AI research studies. Your mission is to find, recruit, and onboard qualified research participants, engaging with people directly to explain our research opportunities and assist them in getting started. You will also experiment with various recruiting channels to identify effective strategies.
Responsibilities
- Identify and recruit participants for AI research studies across diverse demographics, professions, and communities.
- Conduct outreach through in-person conversations, community organizations, events, digital channels, and creative methods.
- Explain Engramme's research program, participation requirements, and compensation opportunities.
- Assist interested participants in understanding eligibility requirements and completing onboarding.
- Experiment with new participant acquisition channels and refine existing outreach approaches.
- Track recruitment activity, participant activation, and recruitment effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the team to develop scalable, repeatable processes.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Outgoing, proactive, and comfortable approaching and speaking with new people.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and willing to experiment with different outreach approaches.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow through with prospective participants.
- Comfortable working independently and being measured against clear outcomes.
- Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and willing to conduct in-person outreach.
- Experience in sales, community outreach, field marketing, customer acquisition, or similar roles is a plus, but not required.
- No AI or technical research experience is necessary.

Salary/Compensations
- $20/hour base, with performance-based incentives bringing total compensation up to $3,500/month.
