Responsibilities
- Own a substantive workstream tied to either 2028 portfolio planning or AI enablement, with a defined deliverable presented to senior leadership.
- Conduct market, competitor, and internal research to inform investment decisions or AI use case prioritization.
- Build the analysis behind business cases, initiative sizing, value capture estimates, or adoption metrics.
- Partner directly with value stream leaders, product managers, finance partners, and technology leaders across FPRS.
- Develop executive-ready materials for forums attended by Guardian senior leadership.
- Contribute to how we prioritize, sequence, and measure a multi-year transformation portfolio.
- Use AI tools every day in your own work, and act as a power user who shows colleagues what good prompting and AI-assisted workflows look like.
- Apply use-case prioritization frameworks to rank AI opportunities and build the business case for adoption.
- Define and report AI adoption metrics and productivity gains, and translate them into value realization for the business.
- Build training materials, prompt libraries, and adoption playbooks that scale AI use across FPRS, and contribute to our responsible AI guardrails around data privacy, accuracy, and ethical use.
- Work and learn from supportive leaders, mentors, and team members across the organization.
- Learn about Guardian’s purpose, values, how we work, and our suite of product and service offerings.
- Build a network of colleagues and have a sense of community with other interns and other parts of the business.
- Think broadly and ask questions about data, facts, and other information.

- Proactive, comfortable with ambiguity, able to listen and make quick decisions, and thrives in a goal-oriented environment.
- Energized by the intersection of business strategy and AI, and sees AI as a tool that amplifies human judgment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and drive to a defensible recommendation.

- Hands-on experience using generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or Gemini) for business problems, including prompt design and the ability to iterate with a model to get to a usable output.
- A working understanding of what AI can and cannot do, including where human judgment, accuracy verification, and responsible use principles must stay in the loop (no coding required).
- Comfort with data analytics and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) and a willingness to learn new AI platforms quickly.
- Ability to navigate relationships and influence stakeholders using strong interpersonal skills, maturity, and judgment.
- A self-starter mindset, high energy, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
