About the Role
We are looking for a Solutions Architect to bridge our product team and clients, ensuring that our offerings are buildable and deliverable. This role involves technical leadership in the sales process and contributing to the development of an internal product that recommends and executes decisions based on company data.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical side of early client conversations, including discovery calls.
- Co-run client workshops to understand processes, data sources, and pain points.
- Answer deep technical questions on architecture, data integration, security, and on-premise setups.
- Shape solution proposals mapping client use cases to product capabilities.
- Collaborate with partners and managing directors to align commercial and technical deal aspects.
- Translate client feedback into product implications for the product and engineering teams.
- Contribute to the product roadmap by identifying patterns across clients and industries.
- Ensure smooth handover to engineering teams for solution delivery.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in a client-facing technical role (e.g., Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant, Forward Deployed Engineer).
- Hands-on technical background (software engineering, data engineering, or architecture) with expertise in system design, data integration, and security.
- Practical experience with AI/LLM systems or data platforms.
- Experience in B2B sales cycles, including discovery calls, workshops, and solution presentations.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences (CTO, business owner, operations team).
- Strong structuring skills to define problems and outline solutions.
- Comfort with ambiguity and an evolving product.
- High agency, a get-things-done mindset, and strong teamwork skills.
- Fluent German and English.
- Willingness to travel to client sites for workshops.
