About the Role
The 2027 Summer Internship Program is a paid 10-week learning experience designed to immerse interns in the daily operations of a global financial services company. Interns will gain industry and organizational knowledge, work on impactful projects, interact with senior leaders, and network with professionals across the company. This program offers realistic insights into working at Guardian.
Responsibilities
- Expose and influence the agendas of Guardian senior executives.
- Support the development of strategic vision, direction, and near-term priorities for Guardian’s FPRS businesses through research and analysis.
- Conduct strategic deep dives for key business units within an internal consulting model.
- Develop and deliver content for strategic topics and executive-level working sessions.
- Assess and develop business cases, market sizing, and external research for innovation and investment opportunities.
- Work and learn from supportive leaders, mentors, and team members.
- Learn about Guardian’s purpose, values, products, and services.
- Build a professional network and foster a sense of community.
- Think broadly and question data, facts, and information.
Requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen.
- Demonstrated project leadership potential, including prioritization and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
- Ability to navigate relationships and influence stakeholders with interpersonal skills, maturity, and judgment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of AI capabilities, prompt design, use-case prioritization, and AI value drivers.
- Self-starter mindset with high energy, strong work ethic, ability to work independently, and creativity.
- Interest in the financial services and insurance industry (preferred).
