About the Role

As a Senior Consultant on our Cyber & Regulatory Remediation team, you will lead client-facing workstreams that translate regulator findings into defensible, executable remediation plans, and then drive those plans to closure alongside CISO, Risk, and Audit leadership. This role requires owning the substance of remediation, writing roadmaps acceptable to examiners, hardening controls, and personally pushing technical workstreams across the finish line.

Responsibilities

  • Lead regulatory remediation programs, translating regulatory findings into prioritized remediation plans with defensible milestones, evidence requirements, and validation criteria.
  • Run point with examiners and internal audit, preparing clients for regulatory exams and continuous-monitoring touchpoints, and drafting response letters, walkthroughs, and evidence packages.
  • Drive technical remediation by partnering with client teams to close findings and achieve engineering outcomes.
  • Run cyber incident response engagements, leading containment strategy, forensic coordination, regulator notification, and executive communications.
  • Strengthen vulnerability and patch management programs by assessing current-state operations, designing risk-based SLAs, building exception governance, and operationalizing tooling.
  • Lead IAM remediation workstreams to improve identity governance, privileged access management, and access controls.
  • Coach and mentor analysts and consultants, reviewing deliverables and raising the standard for quality.
  • Grow the practice by contributing to proposals, thought leadership, and identifying follow-on work.

Requirements

  • Ability to speak credibly to at least three of the specified regulatory frameworks and regimes from direct experience.
  • Hands-on experience leading or coordinating IR for various cyber events.
  • Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-61, MITRE ATT&CK, and practical IR mechanics.
  • Comfort coordinating across legal, privacy, communications, forensics, insurance, and regulators under time pressure.
  • Experience drafting and defending incident notifications and regulator communications.
  • Demonstrated experience designing or remediating enterprise VM programs.
  • Operational familiarity with specified VM/patch management and vulnerability response tooling.
  • Experience with patch management at scale across various operating systems and workloads.
  • Strong grasp of IAM domains including IGA, PAM, authentication, and access certification.
  • Working experience with at least two specified IAM platforms.
  • Practical experience reducing standing privilege, designing role models, and remediating common IAM findings.
