About the Role

As a Working Student AI & Business Automation (m/f/d), you will work at the intersection of business building, artificial intelligence, and operational implementation. You will identify processes and business areas where AI and automation can make a real difference and implement the appropriate solutions directly. This involves building workflows, testing tools, structuring data, and developing solutions that are actually used in daily work. You will receive significant responsibility early on and work on topics across various departments, from operations and sales to finance and new business models. This role is for you if you are passionate about actively using technology to solve real business problems.

Responsibilities

Identify processes with automation potential and develop concrete solutions.
Build and optimize AI-supported workflows, automations, and internal tools using platforms like n8n, Make, APIs, or modern AI tools.
Test new AI applications and evaluate their sensible integration into existing processes.
Accompany solutions from initial idea through testing to productive use.
Analyze existing business processes and identify weaknesses, manual steps, and scaling potentials.
Develop new processes and digital solutions collaboratively with the team.
Support business-building projects and help quickly validate and implement new ideas.
Work closely with various teams, translating operational challenges into concrete solution approaches.
Work with data from different systems to make relevant key figures transparent and usable.
Support the development and enhancement of reports and dashboards.
Analyze data and derive concrete recommendations for action for operational and strategic issues.
Ensure data and key figures are understandable and reliable.
Monitor new developments in AI, automation, and digital business models.
Test new tools and technologies and evaluate their benefit for Talentspring.
Contribute own ideas and have the opportunity to quickly test new approaches in practice.

Requirements

Currently enrolled student in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Entrepreneurship, Data Science, or a comparable field.
Availability for approximately 20 hours per week.
Proficiency in using AI tools in daily life and a strong desire to delve into new technologies and applications.
Hands-on mentality with a desire to build, test, and improve things directly.
Initial experience with automation tools, APIs, AI workflows, or coding (e.g., n8n, Make, Zapier, Python, JavaScript, or similar).
Ability to quickly understand business processes and recognize the value of technical solutions in solving real problems.
Structured approach to working with data, key figures, and complex issues, with critical evaluation of results.
Ability to work independently, drive topics forward proactively, and take ownership.
Fluent German communication skills (C2 level) for internal team collaboration.
Comfortable navigating English-language tools, documentation, and technical resources.
