About the Role
As an Intern in the G&T Industry Insights Programme, you will gain exposure to each of the Infrastructure & Major Projects teams, developing a broad understanding of infrastructure delivery and consultancy. You will assist your team with daily project work, working with independence while also knowing when to seek guidance.
Responsibilities
- Attend site meetings, including design team meetings and progress meetings with the contractor and project team.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to support project delivery and attend project meetings, taking minutes.
- Work directly with project managers to help implement project contracts and monitor change control processes.
- Provide administrative support to the team.
- Support the team in preparing a project schedule.
- Assist with Cost Planning & Estimating, including measurement and analysis of material, labor, and overhead costs.
- Assist in preparing interim valuations and final account settlements.
- Gain understanding and insight into client needs.
- Support Tendering & Procurement by participating in preparing tender documents and evaluating contractor bids.
- Assist the team in compiling contract documents.
- Assist in data collection, development, and analysis to enable decision-making and goal setting.
Requirements

- Good A-Level grades or equivalent.
