About the Role

The Senior Manager, Strategy Portfolio Office, is responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of a comprehensive financial literacy program for members. The role translates strategy into an actionable program roadmap, including pilot implementation, evaluation and recommendations for sustainable scaling. This role works closely with internal cross-functional stakeholders, external education partners and members to develop and deliver high-quality, objective, practical, and accessible financial education through multiple formats, including live sessions, workshops, webinars, on demand content. The role requires deep subject matter expertise in financial topics, strong instructional and facilitation skills, and direct client facing experience. The incumbent will support member questions, facilitate learning, and ensure programming meets professional, ethical, and regulatory standards. The role is focused on the objective of providing financial education and does not include the delivery of personalized financial advice or recommendations. It is integral to building member trust, enhancing financial knowledge and decision-making capability, and fostering sustained confidence in managing financial matters over the long term.

  • Continuously assessing and refining delivery approaches to maximize learner impact and accessibility
  • Using member research, physician reference-group input and program data to validate priorities and tailor learning pathways across career stages
  • Working closely with subject-matter experts, content contributors and internal stakeholders to co-develop education materials, maintain appropriate disclosures, boundaries, and oversight.
  • Acting as an informed internal counterpart—able to challenge, refine, and contextualize partner‑provided content for member relevance
  • Defining partner requirements and oversee selection, onboarding, deliverables, quality and performance in collaboration with Procurement, Legal and other stakeholders
  • Supporting member confidence and capability by creating safe, trusted learning environments for sensitive financial topics
  • Incorporating feedback to continuously improve content relevance and learning outcomes.
  • Establishing success measures and evaluate participation, engagement, learning outcomes, member confidence and overall member value; use findings to improve the program and inform scaling
  • Ensuring all programming aligns with applicable regulatory, licensing, and professional standards
  • Maintaining content-review, disclosure and conflict-of-interest safeguards that clearly separate education from personalized advice, product promotion and sales
