About the Role
Dhaka Technologies Limited Company (DTLC) is hiring a Pharmacist in Charge on behalf of our client, a retail pharmacy in the Bronx, New York. This role involves preparing and dispensing medications, leading pharmacy technicians, and managing daily pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense prescribed medications to patients accurately and safely.
- Lead, supervise, and support a team of pharmacy technicians.
- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.
- Use the pharmacy's patient management system to maintain patient profiles and prescription records.
- Communicate clearly with patients, prescribers, and pharmacy staff.
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
- Active, current pharmacist license to practice in New York.
- Minimum of 3 years of retail pharmacy management experience.
- Experience using a pharmacy patient management system.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
- Previous pharmacy leadership experience.
