About the Role
Total Behavioral Health is seeking a licensed Physician Assistant (PA-C) with Psych. Certification or Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide virtual care for mental health patients in Texas. This role offers autonomy, a chance to shape practice, and a refreshing approach to patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent patient care and ensure patients enjoy their visits.
- Adhere to all company policies and protocols.
- Demonstrate sound medical decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
- Develop and implement patient management plans for continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR records and adhere to HIPAA protocols.
- Stay current with professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and networking.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of experience in a mental health setting.
- No current or pending malpractice lawsuits.
- Texas medical board licensure/APRN.
- Active state license in good standing.
- Active Controlled Substance Registration.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Comfortable using computers extensively.
- High attention to detail.
- Maintain professional appearance, demeanor, and team-oriented behavior.
- Punctual, dependable, goal-oriented, and receptive to coaching.
