About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist to join our team at Inwood Animal Clinic, specializing in quality veterinary care for pets of all ages. Our goal is to deliver top-quality care for every animal, ensuring they enjoy a lifetime of great health.
Responsibilities
- Greeting clients and patients
- Answering questions and triaging client concerns
- Answering calls or emails and directing them to the appropriate party for resolution
- Scheduling appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
- Maintaining the visual appeal of the hospital reception area
- Checking in and checking out clients
- Processing payments
- Offering friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients
- Being comfortable with various medical outcomes
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred
- Prior leadership experience is a plus
- Highly organized
- Possess computer skills
- Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset
- Hiring eligibility may be contingent on a candidate authorizing and completing a satisfactory pre-employment screening
