About the Role
At PH Jones, our mission is to mend it. Our teams have been at the heart of communities for over 50 years, supporting social housing across the UK by installing, upgrading, and repairing heating and electrical systems. We are on a mission to make the UK’s social housing sector greener and more energy efficient.
Responsibilities
- Perform general building and maintenance work.
- Remove and reinstate boxing around boilers and flues.
- Remove and reinstate cupboards and air cupboards.
- Remove decommissioned gas fires, brick up, open, and skim.
- Make good in and around flues and air vents, including basic brickwork and plastering.
- Perform general carpentry, such as lifting floorboards.
- Create access for pipework in walls or behind kitchen units.
- Reinforce walls for radiators.
- Maintain knowledge of all procedures and safety measures to PH Jones and British Gas standards.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid in-date driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Must hold a valid right to work in the UK.
- Confident with good written and verbal communication skills.
