About the Role
Dimensional's Technology Department leverages the state of the art to engineer scalable, innovative, and research-driven solutions to improve clients' financial lives. This role involves leading a global team to design, deploy, and manage a resilient global network infrastructure, championing Infrastructure as Code, and staying abreast of emerging technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and transform a global team of network engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and development opportunities.
- Design, deploy, and manage a resilient global network infrastructure, including data centers and cloud environments.
- Develop and implement network strategies and architectures for Hybrid Cloud environments.
- Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Ansible and Terraform.
- Oversee the management of core networking protocols and services, including BGP and MPLS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into network solutions.
- Manage vendor relationships for cost-effective procurement of network services and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to network security and data protection.
- Stay abreast of emerging networking and AI technologies and trends, driving innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent relevant career experience).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in network engineering and operations.
- At least 3 years in a leadership role managing a global team.
- Proven expertise in designing and managing complex network infrastructures, including experience with VXLAN, BGP, MPLS, hybrid cloud environments and micro-segmentation.
- Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering an environment of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
