About the Role
This role will lead a Product Strategy & Operations team spanning the Machine Learning and AI platforms at Capital One. The position is responsible for driving the strategy, operational cadences, and capabilities that enable associates to build, train, deploy, and scale Models and Generative/Agentic AI applications across the business.
Responsibilities
- Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success.
- Manage and develop multiple analysts, coaching and mentoring associates.
- Develop and implement new product and pricing strategies.
- Lead product level data modeling/analytics.
- Lead direct-to-consumer marketing efforts for select products.
- Build targeted insights to inform the design and development of new customer experiences.
- Drive step-change improvements in credit performance by connecting drivers of future consumer credit trends to historical behavior.
- Create risk models, and test hypotheses using rigorous monitoring and analysis.
- Manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements and execute against the product strategy.
- Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently.
- Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including: IT, Sales, Operations, Finance and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability.
- Define product strategy, roadmap prioritization, and operational frameworks grounded in technical understanding and user experience.
- Advocate for internal users (data scientists and engineers) to streamline workflows and accelerate the adoption of Generative and Agentic AI solutions.
- Establish end-to-end product operations mechanisms and strategic planning processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 4 years of experience performing quantitative analysis
- At least 4 years of experience performing qualitative analysis
- At least 2 years of experience performing people management
- At least 2 years of experience performing project management
- Master’s Degree
- 2+ years of experience in financial services
- 1+ year of experience in consulting
- Strong executive communication skills
- Clear results orientation
- Successful track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment.
