About the Role
Join our Banquets department as a Dishwasher and contribute to providing excellent service by ensuring all dishes and kitchen areas are clean and sanitary.
Responsibilities
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of all areas of the dishroom, kitchen aisle, and dock area.
- Break down trays, set up dish machine, wash dishware, and sort and store all clean china, glass and silver using proper procedures.
- Empty trashcans and wash inside and outside.
- Break down dish machine and clean inside and outside.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Believe that work habits should always meet and strive to exceed hotel standards for work procedures, dress, grooming, punctuality and attendance.
- Welcome change, open to learning new skills, can problem solve effectively and not afraid to ask questions.
- Understand the important role played in the kitchen and the necessity of clean dishes and equipment for providing the best service.
- Understand and believe that every Crescent associate is a guest relations ambassador, every working minute of every day.
- Experience handling high volumes of dishes required.
- Experience working in Banquets, Catering or large party environments preferred.
- Flexible availability including days, evening and weekends required.
