Responsibilities

- Develop sales approaches, oversee their implementation, and derive concrete growth initiatives.
- Position the company within partner networks with core portfolios such as UX/UI, change and process consulting, testing, and roll-out.
- Build consortia and partnerships to strengthen the company for large tenders and the role of general contractor.
- Prepare and commercially support opportunities from large project and profile tenders.
- Participate in Bid/No-Bid decisions and offer strategy, including when and how to act as a general contractor.
- Maintain an up-to-date pipeline in the CRM.
- Deepen existing customer relationships in tax and finance administration and leverage successes to develop new departments and states.
- Conduct discussions at the decision-maker level, identify needs early, and translate them into offers with the core team.
- Monitor developments in tax and finance administration, such as legacy system replacements, digitalization of tax procedures, and fraud prevention, and translate them into market opportunities.
Requirements
- Established network in the tax and finance administration of federal, state, or municipal levels, ideally with a connection to the KONSENS environment, which you will strategically develop.
- Completed university degree, ideally in economics, finance, public administration, public management, or a comparable field.
- In-depth understanding of tax and financial procedures in the public sector.
- Several years of experience in business development, sales, or consulting in the public sector.
- Experience in dealing with joint projects, committees, or partner networks.
- Willingness to shape, entrepreneurial thinking, and the ability to actively drive customer and new customer business.
- Very good communication and presentation skills, confident demeanor at the decision-maker level.
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
- Immediate experience with KONSENS or comparable joint projects (plus).
- Technical understanding of award procedures, especially for large project and profile tenders (plus).
