About the Role
You will build the organization behind Prime Intellect's mission to create the open superintelligence stack. Working directly with the founders, you will shape how exceptional people are developed, their contributions are rewarded, and teams are grown to tackle ambitious projects. This is an opportunity to establish the People function from the ground up as headcount and the business scale rapidly, setting direction and managing key initiatives from compensation decisions to closing hires. Initially, a significant focus will be on hands-on and strategic Talent Acquisition for G&A, growth, and marketing roles, in collaboration with the internal talent team.
Responsibilities
- Shape the approach to performance, development, and reviews to enable employees to do their best work and grow.
- Partner with founders, finance, and talent on compensation, equity, leveling, and progression strategies during company scaling.
- Assist leaders in team building, manager development, and strategic thinking on organization design and retention.
- Personally source and close G&A, growth, and marketing hires, collaborating with and helping to scale the internal talent team.
- Build relationships with investors and recruiting partners to attract exceptional talent.
- Lead and scale People Operations, including hiring a People Operations Coordinator and developing partnerships for onboarding, employee experience, and daily operations.
- Serve as a trusted partner to employees and leaders, applying warmth, discretion, and sound judgment to sensitive conversations.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling People teams and organizational foundations from scratch at a startup.
- Proven ability to shape performance and compensation approaches that are understood and utilized by leaders.
- Experience personally sourcing and closing strong G&A, growth, or marketing hires, with an ongoing interest in recruiting.
- Comfort working directly with founders, making informed decisions with incomplete data, and executing on those decisions.
- Deep excitement for the mission of building open superintelligence and the supporting stack.
