About the Role
Meta Reality Labs is seeking Research Scientists to develop advanced technology at the intersection of computer vision and generative AI. The team is focused on bringing photorealistic, real-time holographic communication to AR/VR glasses and advancing Family of Apps (FoA) applications like auto-translation with realistic lipsync on Instagram. You will collaborate with a diverse team and utilize cutting-edge technology and resources.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research to extend foundation models through model fine-tuning.
- Work towards long-term research goals while identifying intermediate milestones.
- Influence research communities by producing publications.
- Contribute research applicable to Meta product development.
- Lead and collaborate on research projects within a globally based team.
Requirements
- First-author publications at peer-reviewed AI/CV conferences (e.g. NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV).
- Experience in computer vision and/or generative models (e.g., diffusion models, DiT for video generation).
- Experience in training, fine-tuning, and/or experimenting with foundation models beyond black-box use.
- Familiarity with one or more deep learning frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Experience communicating complex research to public audiences of peers.
