About the Role

You will support the project team on the electrical side of projects, from initial customer data to grid operator approval. You will work with the Head of Projects and senior engineers, taking ownership of defined work packages from day one.

Responsibilities

Prepare and submit grid connection requests, including VDE-AR-N 4110 forms, data sheets, unit certificates, site plans, and single-line diagrams.
Respond to grid operator questions and follow up until approval.
Review connection offers, construction cost contributions, and flexible connection agreements.
Draft single-line diagrams, metering and SCADA concepts, and control logic for various storage configurations.
Assess connection capacity, connection points, and required infrastructure using load profiles, simulation tools, and site visits.
Scope specialist work such as protection studies, grid calculations, or earthing design.
Brief external engineering firms and manage them until results are ready for construction.
Develop templates, checklists, or AI skills to streamline recurring tasks and improve efficiency.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (from the 3rd semester) or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or Industrial Engineering with an electrical focus.
Demonstrated practical experience through a startup, startup internship, Formula Student, research project, or a shipped side project.
Understanding of power systems in practice, including the ability to read single-line diagrams and differentiate between low and medium voltage.
High level of precision and attention to detail.
German language proficiency at C1 level or higher.
Good English language skills.
