About the Role
Mit unserem Tech-Traineeprogramm erhältst du die Möglichkeit, unser Unternehmen aus verschiedenen Perspektiven kennenzulernen und aktiv an Themen mitzuwirken, die unsere Zukunft gestalten. Freue dich auf spannende Insights und Rotationen durch unsere Business Units: bonial, Head Office, BILD und PREMIUM-GRUPPE (WELT, POLITICO Deutschland und BUSINESS INSIDER Deutschland). Während deines 18-monatigen Tech-Traineeprogramms lernst du verschiedene Medienmarken und Business Units aus nächster Nähe kennen. Du startest im Tech-Bereich und rotierst von dort aus gezielt durch weitere Bereiche. Dabei vertiefst du deinen Tech-Fokus und lernst gleichzeitig unterschiedliche Perspektiven und Geschäftsmodelle innerhalb von Axel Springer kennen. Je nach Möglichkeit kann auch eine Station im Ausland Teil deines Traineeprogramms sein.
Responsibilities
- Build and deepen AI expertise, from prompting and AI agents to practical automation and machine learning use cases.
- Identify AI and automation potential along existing processes and actively drive AI transformation.
- Develop and prototype own solutions using Vibe Coding and modern AI-powered dev tools.
- Create technical analyses, business cases, and KPI reviews as a basis for tech investment decisions.
- Support quality assurance, testing, and rollout of new product features across various business units.
Requirements
- Successfully completed Master's degree with a technical focus (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business Informatics, or comparable).
- Good understanding of app and product development, with interest in user experience and digital business models.
- Initial practical programming experience and solid technical foundation (e.g., web/app architectures, APIs, databases).
- Proficient use of AI-powered dev tools like Cursor or Claude Code, ideally also with agents in Claude, Codex, or similar.
- Proactive, independent, and solution-oriented work style with enthusiasm for quickly learning new technologies.
