About the Role
This role involves the successful project development, including the coordination of complex approval processes for building applications or land use plans, and the coordination of internal detailed planning and realization of Agri-PV and co-located battery storage systems in Germany. You will be excited by the combination of the latest Agri-PV technology with innovative agricultural management and the integration of generation plants with battery storage solutions for grid services.
Responsibilities
- Project management and coordination of utility-scale Agri-PV and co-located battery storage from land acquisition to Ready to Build, specifically within building plan and building permit procedures for in-house and client projects.
- Coordination and management of internal and external planning and technical teams, and communication with municipal and district/community level approval authorities.
- Digital project management using our AI-powered project platform, working interdisciplinarily with colleagues from DC/AC planning, engineering, and asset management.
- Management and quality control of all external consultants and experts, such as environmental consultants, land-use planners, civil engineers/architects, etc.
- Ensuring projects are successfully realized on time and within budget.
- Preparation of key figures, project pipelines, and project plans using digital tools and AI.
- Reporting and close coordination with the management of project development.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Business Administration, Agricultural Economics, Geography, Environmental Management/Planning, or a comparable qualification, OR at least three years of professional experience as a Senior Project Manager in the renewable energy sector.
- Fluent German and English language skills (minimum C1).
- Comprehensive knowledge of standard approval processes (land use planning, building applications) in various federal states.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Teams, and AI applications such as Claude or similar.
- Strong communication and team leadership skills.
- Negotiation skills and assertiveness.
