About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead initiatives in enterprise AI adoption, AIOps implementation, and transformations involving GitHub and DevSecOps. This role will be responsible for driving improvements in developer productivity and modernizing the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to adopt and embed AI-driven development practices across the organization, leveraging solutions such as GitHub Copilot, GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Models, and GitHub Actions.
- Drive the adoption and utilization of AI-powered code modernization tools.
- Develop a roadmap to transform the software development life cycle (SDLC) using AI.
- Design and promote AIOps and intelligent operational frameworks.
- Lead transformation and migration projects centered on GitHub and DevSecOps.
- Identify and prioritize use cases aimed at enhancing developer productivity.
- Define adoption strategies, governance models, and success metrics (KPIs).
- Establish best practices for AI engineering within large-scale enterprise environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute initiatives in a rapidly evolving environment.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional experience in software engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, cloud transformation, or IT operations.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and operating AIOps solutions.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in building and managing enterprise platforms for software development.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in AI-enabled software development.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in implementing DevSecOps.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in driving the transformation of development processes.
- Experience leading migration projects from source code management platforms (e.g., GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, SVN) to an enterprise-grade software development platform.
- Experience driving the adoption of AI-powered coding assistance tools to enhance developer productivity and transform development processes.
- Knowledge of or practical experience with Generative AI, Agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI engineering, and Responsible AI.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and practical experience applying it.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and effectively drive projects forward.
- Experience working within a global team, or a strong motivation to work in a global environment.
- Must hold Japanese citizenship or possess a valid visa (residence status) that permits employment in Japan.
