About the Role

Support the growth and retention of Jupiter’s business with key national wealth manager clients and other discretionary clients in London. • Build trusted working relationships with investment management teams at national wealth managers, particularly London-based clients
  • Work with UK Wealth colleagues to identify priority firms, investment teams, funds and client opportunities, and agree clear account plans and next steps
  • Drive conversion of Jupiter funds that are already on client approved lists by understanding each client’s selection process, portfolio needs and barriers to allocation
  • Support the defence of existing Jupiter assets by maintaining regular client dialogue, identifying concerns or potential outflows early, and coordinating an appropriate response with sales colleagues and fund managers
  • Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of Jupiter’s funds, investment processes, portfolio roles, risks and relevant market context
  • Capture and share client views on asset classes, investment styles and portfolio positioning, including areas attracting interest and areas facing reduced demand
  • Translate client feedback and market developments into timely, practical insight for the UK Wealth team and investment colleagues
  • Plan and deliver bespoke fund manager breakfasts, lunches and other meetings with a clear client rationale, relevant attendee list and agreed follow-up
  • Prepare thoroughly for client meetings, support compelling and accurate investment discussions, record outcomes, and ensure actions are completed promptly
  • Work collaboratively with sales colleagues, fund managers, product specialists, marketing and other internal teams to deliver a joined-up client experience
  • Maintain accurate and current client, meeting, opportunity and asset-defence records in the firm’s CRM and reporting tools
  • Provide clear updates on pipeline progression, client feedback, risks, agreed actions and outcomes; escalate material concerns promptly
  • Follow Jupiter’s conduct, compliance and communications requirements in all client activity and materials

Requirements

  • Experience working with UK wealth management clients, with established exposure to London-based firms and investment decision-makers
  • A track record in a client-facing role within asset management or wealth management
  • Good technical understanding of investments and financial markets, including the ability to explain fund strategies, portfolio roles and risks clearly
  • Understanding of how wealth managers assess funds, use approved lists and progress ideas through research, due diligence and portfolio allocation
  • Collaborative and dependable, with the confidence to take ownership and follow through on commitments
  • Commercially focused and organised, able to prioritise across several client relationships and opportunities
  • Credible communicator who can adapt technical investment information to the needs of different audiences
  • Curious about client needs and market direction, with sound judgement about when to raise a concern or involve colleagues
