About the Role

We are seeking driven and impactful Software Engineers to join our Engineering team. You will build with agentic, AI-assisted development as the default way of working, focusing on quality and collaboration. You will join a small, senior team and work with real clients from day one. We are hiring across two tracks: Core Engineer, focusing on building the internal product, platform, and architecture; and Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), working hands-on with clients to customize the core product.

Responsibilities

Own architecture and technology choices for AI-native, agentic products.
Build data pipelines, workflow automation, and system integrations.
Ship features across frontend and backend.
Own infrastructure, CI/CD, and hosting.
Build and refine product surfaces, including rapid UI prototypes.
Design, plan, and implement business-critical, performant, and accessible user interfaces with clients.
Enhance usability and user experience of existing applications by developing new features.
Advise engineering teams on architecture and technology choices.
Work one-to-one with client teams to understand their systems, data, and ways of working.
Run workshops to surface implicit, undocumented knowledge.
Build client-specific customization on top of the core product.
Translate on-site learnings into input for the core team.
Explain the product in a technical, consultative way.
Travel to client sites for workshops as needed.

Requirements

Hands-on software engineering background with real shipping experience (products, MVPs, or proofs of concept).
Practical experience with AI/LLM systems in production.
Knowledge of Python or TypeScript (or another object-oriented language).
A get-things-done mindset; you ship and don't wait for perfect specs.
Comfort with ambiguity and open-ended work; you think in products, not tickets.
High agency: you take initiative, make decisions with confidence, and go beyond your role.
Ability to effectively convey technical concepts to team members and stakeholders in a business-friendly way.
A team player who prioritizes shared goals, shares credit, and collaborates across disciplines.
Openness to feedback and adaptability in a fast-changing environment.
C2 in German for FDEs.
Proficiency in English for both core engineers and FDEs.
Comfort with people-facing work (workshops, client conversations) for FDEs.
Willingness to travel to client sites for FDEs.
