About the Role
Seeking a Casual Kitchen Assistant for Korean Grill Kensington Restaurant (KGK) to assist in the smooth running of the assigned section and ensure all areas meet hotel standards. The role involves cooking food daily according to business requirements and recipes.
Responsibilities
- Organize the shift on the assigned section and ensure its smooth running with the Chef de Partie.
- Ensure all areas of the Kitchen are up to the hotel’s standards at all times.
- Take orders from the Chef de Partie and carry them out correctly.
- Work to specifications received from the Chef de Partie regarding portion size, quantity, and quality as laid down in the recipe index.
- Report any problems regarding failure of machinery and small equipment to the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
Requirements
- Ability to produce and assist in a timely fashion.
- Deliver agreed-upon results and look for solutions to maintain focus on driving guest satisfaction.
