About the Role
The Commis Chef will assist in the smooth running of the assigned section in the Korean Grill Kensington Restaurant, ensuring all areas meet hotel standards and cooking food according to business requirements and recipes.
Responsibilities
- Organize the shift on the assigned section with the Chef de Partie and ensure its smooth running.
- Ensure all areas of the Kitchen are up to the hotel’s standards at all times.
- Take orders from the Chef de Partie and carry them out correctly.
- Ensure one-to-one training has been carried out and comprehended.
- Work to specifications received by the Chef de Partie regarding portion size, quantity, and quality as laid down in the recipe index.
Requirements
- Ability to produce and assist in a timely fashion.
- Deliver agreed-upon results and look for solutions to maintain focus on driving guest satisfaction.
