About the Role
Interns join the technical staff on a focused research or engineering project. Projects may involve mathematical reasoning, model training, formal verification, or supporting infrastructure. The project will be defined based on Axiom’s current work and intern contribution potential.
Responsibilities
- Work with a mentor on a research or engineering project that matters to Axiom.
- Take ownership of the full project lifecycle: planning, experimentation, and productionization.
- Gain a broad view of Axiom’s work across the company, and learn how research, engineering, and formal verification come together in pursuit of mathematical discovery.
Requirements
- Evidence of technical ability through research, open-source work, independent projects, or coursework.
- Depth in at least one of computer science, machine learning, mathematics, or formal methods.
- The ability to write and debug substantial code.
- Agency to drive a project and the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
- Candidates are assessed based on demonstrated technical work, not necessarily prior experience in every area.
