About the Role
Salesforce is seeking a senior technical expert in AI and agentic strategy for EMEA. This role requires a proven track record of shipping AI products into production and translating AI capabilities into measurable business value and customer trust. The Field CAIO will advise Chief Digital and AI Officers on enterprise AI strategy and Salesforce's role within it.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the field's authority on LLMs and agentic implementations, focusing on real-world application and measurable business value.
- Engage C-level executives (CAIOs, CTOs) as a peer, translating AI potential into funded, actionable plans.
- Present at industry events, analyst briefings, and customer boards, sharing insights on production AI effectiveness.
- Own the process of moving AI tools from demo to production, ensuring trust and transparency for business adoption.
- Translate AI capabilities into concrete business process improvements, assisting customers with problem framing, value sizing, and use case selection.
- Provide architectural expertise on agentic patterns, including orchestration, tool use, guardrails, and observability.
- Act as a long-term trusted advisor to strategic accounts on their AI roadmaps.
- Develop reference architectures and go-to-market narratives for new AI/agentic offerings.
- Create reusable proof points and playbooks based on personal experience shipping AI products.
- Collaborate with AI ecosystem partners on architecture patterns to accelerate joint solutions.
Requirements
- 10-15+ years in AI/ML, applied data science, or technical consulting, with a recent deep focus on LLMs and agentic systems.
- Demonstrated track record of taking AI tools into production, with references for delivered business impact.
- Solid working knowledge of at least one Salesforce cloud and the core platform.
- Strong understanding of production AI trustworthiness factors: transparency, observability, guardrails, and evaluation.
- Proven C-level advisory experience, translating AI potential into business-process outcomes.
- Fluent English required; additional EMEA languages are a plus.
- Degree or equivalent experience.

- AI & Agentic: LLMs, RAG, vector stores, agent orchestration, MCP/A2A interoperability, evaluation/observability frameworks
- Applied AI-to-Value: Use-case framing, business process redesign, ROI measurement for AI initiatives
- Salesforce Platform: Agentforce and at least one cloud (Data 360, Sales, Service, or Industry Clouds)
- Data Foundations: Cloud DWH/DL fluency
- Production & Trust: Guardrails, governance, monitoring, and transparency patterns for deployed AI systems
