About the Role
We are seeking entrepreneurial, versatile, and adaptable individuals to join our team. You will enjoy problem-solving, understanding client needs, and helping new clients launch successful propositions. Operating from our New York regional headquarters, you will play a vital role in shaping Engine’s North American growth by meeting potential clients, understanding their needs, and collaborating with internal teams and partners.
Responsibilities
- Support early-stage conversations, run client workshops and demos, and identify/qualify opportunities.
- Contribute to marketing activities and conferences to raise awareness of Engine’s brand and proposition.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with implementation partners for collaborative business development.
- Take ownership of strategic opportunities, acting as the client's advocate and building trusted relationships.
- Project manage opportunities, build client confidence, provide technical expertise, and ensure follow-through on promises.
- Manage commercial and contractual conversations.
- Support product and engineering teams through Discovery and Delivery phases with client relationship and commercial support.
- Help clients understand how Engine can address their issues through dialogue, analysis, and presentations.
- Expect international travel as part of a fast-growing global team.
- Roll up sleeves to help deliver great outcomes for clients; be involved in the 'doing'.
- Work in an Agile way with flexibility to adapt methodologies for client implementations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a reputable consulting organization, bank, or Fintech.
- Experience across multiple banks and situations, applying advisory skills.
- A network and contacts in the banking space that can be utilized.
- Experience in financial services (ideally retail or business banking).
- Understanding of issues and challenges related to bank IT systems and projects.

- Confidence to ask insightful questions and engage with senior bank executives.
