About the Role

NanoQT is building a first-of-its-kind system at the edge of quantum computing. This role offers a chance to learn and grow in a new industry, working closely with physicists and engineers to understand, design, develop, and maintain complex internal systems. You will refine and extend existing systems while continuously improving UI/UX and maintainability.

Responsibilities

Understand existing systems by asking clarifying questions and seeking explanations.
Design and develop new systems collaboratively, contributing your perspective and sharing software knowledge.
Maintain existing systems, owning your code, ensuring it is well-architected and extensible, and improving user experience over time.

Requirements

Fluency in Python and C++.
Experience building and updating GUIs based on user feedback.
Experience working with microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino).
Experience with control systems.
Understanding of RPC and REST.
Understanding of signal analysis.
Business-level fluency in English, including technical concepts.
Casual conversational ability in Japanese.
